Let’s finish the job: #All50StatesFinEd, and take the 5-Minute Dreamlife Challenge

30ish down, more to go! It’s changing daily. This March, Moneyling™ is using our SXSW moment to build momentum so every state requires personal finance credit for high school graduation, and we are asking you to run one five-minute Dreamlife simulation, share it, and nominate three friends.

Momentum is real: most states now require some form of financial education for high school graduation, but not all fifty are on board yet. We believe (and hope you do too) that every student deserves to learn how money works, how to plan, save, invest, and build a future that is actually theirs.

This March, Moneyling™ is using our SXSW stage to rally one clear national goal: required, quality financial education in all fifty states. Hashtags are not the mission; they are how we make the mission visible. When you post, you are not performing. You are recruiting allies for classrooms that still wait on policy, teachers who need backup, and young people who will not get a do-over on their first decade of adult money choices.

The work in districts stays standards-based, story-grounded, and teacher-respectful. Imagine It. Plan It. Live It. on the Moneyling™ LMS, with Moneyling™’s Dreamlife Sim™ (Student Edition) for teens where licensed, and Moneyling™’s Dreamlife-Sim™ for adults who want the same habit loop after graduation. This campaign is the public drumbeat so the quiet work in schools does not stay invisible.

How you can help (five minutes, zero download)

We are inviting everyone to take the 5-Minute Dreamlife Challenge. You do not need to be a student. You can be a teacher, parent, financial professional, community leader, or simply someone who remembers what it felt like to guess your way through a first paycheck.

Support financial education at any age. The goal is momentum for every state to require personal finance as graduation credit, not a nice-to-have elective. 30ish down, more to go! It’s changing daily. Financial education helps turn dreams into plans. Imagine It. Plan It. Live It., and help us reach #All50StatesFinEd.

Frequently asked questions

Who can join the challenge?
Anyone. Students, teachers, parents, financial professionals, community leaders, alumni; if you believe FinEd should be universal, you count. Moneyling™’s Dreamlife-Sim™ is free to try in the browser with no download; use Individuals below when you are ready to open it.
Why share a dream-life vision? What does that have to do with financial education?
When people see a future they want on screen, money stops sounding like a dry subject and starts sounding like the path to that future. Financial education works best when learners can name where they are going, not only recite definitions. Posting your Dreamlife view makes the issue human for friends and policymakers: they see a story behind the hashtag, not only a debate about credits and mandates. That link between visualization, motivation, and real goals is the same reason classrooms use story, simulation, and SMART-style planning. The challenge is a public mirror of that idea.
Does posting replace local advocacy?
No. It amplifies it. Use the hashtags to find allies, then bring the same energy to school boards, statehouses, and partner institutions. Moneyling™’s LMS programs are built for districts that are ready to implement, not only to debate.
